Experience the thrill of breathing underwater for the first time! Our Intro to Scuba Diving program is perfect for beginners—no experience needed. With expert guidance and shallow dives, you’ll safely explore the underwater world and discover the magic of scuba.
About the Course
This is an introductory, non-certification program suitable to introduce non-certified divers to scuba diving. Participants scuba dive in closely controlled conditions at one of our many beautiful dive sites around Boracay. At any point, the program may be converted to the NAUI Open Water Scuba Diver course at a significant discount in price!
What To Expect In Your Intro Dive Course
1) Arrival & check-in
Complete required forms.
Meet your Instructor/ Divemaster.
Ask any questions or mention recent illness, surgery, pregnancy, or medications.
2) Briefing
About the dive site – depth, time, what you can see.
About the gear – what it does and how to safely use it.
Skills you’ll practice in shallow water – breathe from the regulator, clear mask, equalize ears, etc.
- Safety procedures and communication underwater.
4) Shallow-water training from the beach
Practice breathing from the regulator.
Mask clearing
Regulator clearing & recovery
Ear equalization practice and basic finning technique.
Instructor confirms you’re comfortable before moving on.
5) Pre-dive buddy & equipment check
6) The actual dive
Pre-entry check followed by controlled entry (as briefed).
Instructor points out sights and guides the route—observe, don’t touch marine life or coral.
Your instructor will manage ascent and safety procedures.
7) Exit & after-dive
Follow the instructor’s exit technique. Remove gear and return equipment.
Back to the shop with big smiles to shower and get photos and videos of your dive.
